Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C)/Cuyahoga County Workforce Development Alliance

One of Cuyahoga county’s strategic priorities is to give all residents a pathway to a career.

The Workforce Development Alliance is focused specifically on recipients on SNAP (Food Assistance) and TANF (Cash Assistance), and will provide a pathway from Cuyahoga County to Cuyahoga Community College that will include:
  • Integrated Job & Career Readiness
  • Enrollment in a fast track training program at no cost to the participant
  • Employment placement assistance.

SNAP/TANF recipients will benefit from the county’s new alliance with Tri-C by receiving scholarships to several training programs.

Working in collaboration with Tri-C, the county has identified several areas where there are skills gaps—lots of jobs; not enough talent to fill the need.
