Propel Cuyahoga - Job and Career Events

August 2018


Cuyahoga County and its partners are coordinating a wide range of workforce initiatives that help residents get the education, training, and career coaching they need for today’s in-demand jobs, while connecting local businesses with potential employees to fill much-needed job vacancies. 

Events include job fairs, employer open houses, workshops, and other events hosted by local employers, workforce training programs, and educational institutions.

The Women in Transition program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) celebrates its 40th anniversary this fall with a new session of classes to empower women in their pursuit of education, training and a career.

Participants build confidence and skills through classes on personal development, career exploration and financial and computer literacy. The course is designed to assist women in transitional periods of their lives, such as a career change or return to the workforce.
